We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager – Non-Resident Landlords Department role in a chartered accountancy firm based in London. The firm is a leading UK chartered accountant firm that offers customised and expert accountancy, tax, audit, corporate and financial advising services to high-profile entrepreneurial SMEs, partnerships, corporate bodies, HNW individuals, the property industry, and such.

The company is searching for an experienced person to join the Non-Resident Property Department and work as part of a team to manage a portfolio of thousand customers.

Job Requirements
  • A newly certified ACCA/ACA accountant or someone with proven exposure in a similar accounting setting is preferred.
  • It would be advantageous to have a second language in Mandarin or Cantonese.
  • Outstanding organisational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of own job.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • A thorough understanding of limited company accounting and the difficulties that impact small limited firms.
  • Capable to be an effective team player.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft package (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook) products.
  • Understanding/experience of using AP accounting system, as well as Alphatax, Digita, and ProAudit, is preferred (training will be given as needed).
  • Conversant with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and/or QBO.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A proactive approach to work.
  • The capacity to work under pressure and fulfil deadlines.
