We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager role in an export company based in Amersham. It is a prominent European and North American meat and poultry exporter, with a particular concentration in the Philippines, Korea, Thailand, and the Middle East (Saudi, Egypt, UAE). They are seeking a dedicated, diligent individual with contacts and expertise in international food/commodity trading who can bring business with them and quickly join the company.

Job Requirements:

  • You must demonstrate experience in sales/procurement/trading in one (or more) of the above countries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives and delivering growth in a comparable industry/role.
  • Effective negotiator and influencer.
  • Someone with worldwide food/commodity trade contacts and expertise is desired.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented.
  • Excellent client service and communication abilities.
  • Capability to find and target new clients in novel ways.
  • Strong business and financial aptitude.
  • Organized, capable of multitasking, and capable of managing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and vocal English, as well as Mandarin.
  • Expertise with PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
