We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Specialist in a Building Materials Company based in the UK. A Sales Development Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the initial stages of the sales process. The primary responsibility will be identifying potential new business customers, generating leads, setting up appointments, and nurturing the sales pipeline, collaborating closely with the Sales Team, Operations, and Logistics to ensure a smooth transition of prospects and ultimately contribute to closing deals., Assist the Sales teams in developing new sales opportunities and generating leads within the assigned customer base or territory.
Follow up with prospects through email and calls to create sales opportunities for the team.
Schedule follow-up appointments for the sales team to move customers to the next step in the sales process.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, customer services, and operations teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system.
Work with the sales team to refine lead generation strategies and improve conversion rates.
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to manage product stock, including canceled orders, national stock, and production pipeline for delivery visibility.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Provide regular feedback to management on lead quality and sales development processes.
