Security Officer, One Hyde Park

4 days on, 4 days off, 12‑hour shifts (8 pm – 8 am). Shift patterns include day, night, weekends and bank holidays; flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

  • Static posts at entry/exit points, providing the highest level of security to the building and all occupants.
  • Obtain witness statements and write incident reports.
  • Apply first aid emergency techniques and fire safety (training provided).
  • Respond to all activations of access and panic alarms.
  • Operate CCTV and other security and surveillance systems professionally at all times when assigned, and relay pertinent information to the Supervisor or Security Manager.

Qualifications

  • Previous relevant experience in a position within Safety & Security Services.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Confident, approachable, professional, and able to use diplomacy to handle different situations.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional service for residents.
