About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London within the Front Office department, the Reception Supervisor is responsible for ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Acting as an ambassador for the brand and delivering a warm and personalised experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • To handle all arrivals and departures in an efficient manner, providing our guests with a personalised, warm and welcoming experience, including a tailored rooming experience.
  • To act as an in-house guest ambassador by establishing a personal and tailored service, inputting any preferences and useful guest information into their profile.
  • To make decisions and take appropriate action on any challenges, problems, conflicts and emergencies in the hotel, escalating these as appropriate and efficiently logging them.
  • To monitor rooms status together with housekeeping, reservations and maintenance in order to handle guests’ requirements effectively.
