We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process payroll for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Limited, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments for all employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll alongside ADP for all employees, including salaried and hourly staff, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, changes in compensation, and benefits deductions.
  • Prepare and submit all statutory payroll filings, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions, adhering to deadlines.
  • Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax matters in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Generate various payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
  • Assist with year-end payroll procedures and reporting.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax regulations, and pension schemes.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, RealTime & IHCM, OnTrack).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
