Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is looking for a Pastry Commis Chef to join our Pastry Kitchen team.
39 hours, 5 days per week. Shift patterns will vary (including weekends and bank holidays).
Responsibilities
- Working under direction of the Head Pastry Chef and Sous Chef
- Ensuring all food is cooked and presented to the highest standards and quality as devised by the Head Pastry Chef, Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Assisting with mise en place for the present and following day
- Ensuring efficient stock rotation for any foods produced
- To receive, prepare and cook orders received from hotel outlets to the highest standards
Requirements / Qualifications
- Excellent command of the English language
- Previous experience in a Kitchen environment is desirable
- Great team player with initiative and open-mindedness
Work Schedule
Pastry Commis Chef, rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Flexibility required (including weekends and bank holidays).
