About The Job
- Support the procurement of food, beverage, operational, and non‑operational supplies in line with hotel purchasing procedures.
- Source products, obtain competitive quotations, and maintain accurate supplier, product, and pricing records.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and outstanding purchase orders, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Produce monthly reports on supplier performance, purchasing activity, and outstanding deliveries.
- Liaise daily with operational departments, Goods Receiving and Accounts Payable to ensure orders, deliveries and documentation are processed accurately.
- Review pricing variations, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budget and cost‑control initiatives.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, product evaluations and the identification of new suppliers and products.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, supplier developments and hospitality industry best practices.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, quality standards and audit requirements.
