We’re looking for an IT Assistant to join our IT team. 39 hours, 5 days per week. As an IT Assistant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
As an IT Assistant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:
- Provide hotel guests and colleagues with 1st line support.
- Assemble and configure networks and services.
- Establish network users, directors and security.
- Perform network troubleshooting.
- Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software.
To be a successful IT Assistant, you will have:
- Strong communication: ability to explain tech issues to non-technical colleagues and guests.
- Patience and guest service mindset: the agility to provide quick fixes.
- Flexibility: The hotel operates 24/7, so availability for shifts or emergency calls may be required.
- Teamwork: work closely with our operational and back office departments.
- Good technical skills: covering Hardware & Software Support, Networking and Connectivity, Cyber security and Data Protection and Hotel Systems Knowledge.
