Duty Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintain all Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park standards to the highest level, delivering a prompt and courteous service at all times.
• Assist the FLHSS Manager in all aspects of the Security Department and, in the absence of the FLHSS Manager, undertake responsibilities as directed.
• Obtain witness statements and write incident reports.
• Record all relevant incidents in the Door Occurrence Book.
• Comply with the Code of Practice for Security Staff.
• Undergo training in First Aid emergency techniques and fire safety.
• Investigate, administrate and report all accidents with an emphasis on incidents legislated by RIDDOR.
• Conduct bag and locker searches only in accordance with company guidelines.
• Play a key role in the Security team to support the luxury experience for guests worldwide at one of the world’s best hotels.
