Serviced by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, One Hyde Park is one of 22 residences under the group and offers the same luxurious, kind and generous service to the residents as Mandarin Oriental offers their guests.
As Director of Engineering at One Hyde Park: The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:
- To ensure the building is well maintained and operational areas have an atmosphere that meets or exceeds resident expectations,
- To develop and implement a long-term plan for preventative maintenance,
- To manage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with standard operating procedures,
- To manage the tender process for maintenance and construction bids, overseeing the timely completion of projects within the specific budget,
- To ensure building and equipment licenses, permits and certifications are current and maintain property life safety systems,
- To manage and control heat, light and power and recommend current best methods for energy conservation and economical facility operations,
- To directly oversee the activities of the Engineering department, including managing performance and development needs for the team,
- To ensure compliance with all legislation and company regulations.
As Director of Engineering , you will be working predominantly Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, but flexibility is required where applicable, including weekends and bank holidays.
To be a successful Director of Engineering , you will have experience in luxury and/or high spec residential or hotel engineering. You will be passionate about building strong relationships with residents and colleagues with creative problem-solving skills. You will be dedicated to providing the best possible service to our Residents, ensuring the smooth maintenance and operation of all systems and equipment.
