Join to apply for the Accountant role at Mandarin Oriental. Mandarin Oriental London Corporate Office is looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team. Based at the Mandarin Oriental London Corporate Office, within the Finance Department, the Accountant is responsible for the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions across multiple corporate entities. The Accountant reports to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Booking Receipts – Ensure accurate and timely recording of all incoming receipts in the ledgers.
  • Calculating Commission Income – Calculate and record commission income based on contractual terms and performance data.
  • Payments – Process supplier, homeowner, and other payments in accordance with company policies and controls.
  • Reconciliations – Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany balances, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Reporting – Prepare financial and management reports to support business decision‑making.
  • External Stakeholder Liaison – Liaise with outsourced accounting and tax firms; prepare and submit corporate entity reporting through the Group reporting system.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Other Duties – Perform additional finance‑related tasks assigned by the manager to support departmental needs and business priorities.
