Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is looking for a Breakfast Hostess to join our iconic Breakfast Restaurant team. Are you a master of craft? As a Breakfast Hostess at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:
- Welcome and seat guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring an exceptional first impression and allocating tables according to reservations and guest preferences.
- Manage restaurant reservations using OpenTable, handling bookings, special requests, VIP guests, and maintaining accurate guest records to deliver a personalised experience.
- Coordinate the restaurant floor, working closely with managers and the service team to ensure tables are prepared, guest flow is managed efficiently, and service runs smoothly.
- Deliver outstanding guest service by responding promptly to enquiries, resolving guest concerns professionally, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
- Maintain high presentation standards by keeping the reception area, menus, and entrance immaculate while supporting the team with opening/closing duties and upholding Mandarin Oriental's luxury service standards.
As a Breakfast Hostess, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shifts begin at 5:30am (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required.
To be a successful Breakfast Hostess candidate, you must have previous experience in a food and beverage setting. You will be an enthusiastic leader, with excellent organisational skills and a passion for hospitality.
