Spa Operations Manager
We're looking for a Spa Operations Manager to join our Spa & Wellness team at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is the award‑winning owner and operator of some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences.
Responsibilities
- Perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position or assigned by the Spa & Wellness Director.
- In the absence of the Spa & Wellness Director, take over all responsibilities/duties, including guest and colleague issues, looking after VIPs and attending meetings.
- Assist the Spa & Wellness Director in ensuring the budget requirements are adhered to, with an emphasis on profitability.
- Assist the Spa & Wellness Director in coordinating the day‑to‑day running of the Spa and ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.
- Be responsible for the progressive, professional and well‑organised training induction for all staff in reception and administrative duties, recording all training appropriately.
Shift & Schedule
Work on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns include morning and afternoon shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), requiring flexibility.
Qualifications
You have experience within a luxury Spa environment, a passion for service and exceeding guest expectations, a strong understanding of systems and IT technology, and are an excellent team player with strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous Spa or Hotel experience in a 5‑star environment is essential.
