Two Michelin stars, 180 covers a night. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal runs like a well-oiled machine, and we’re looking for a Chef de Rang who can keep pace. This isn’t just a chance to learn what it takes to run a two-starred restaurant; it’s a chance to learn the history of British cuisine, from an eighteenth-century salamagundy to salmon cured with Earl Grey.

Of course, the standards of service expected at Dinner are only possible with a certain level of regimentation. But with regiments come ranks, and we believe in moving up them. Everyone from our head chef to our maître d’ have been promoted from within. So as a Chef de Rang, if you’re ready to put the effort in, you can expect to progress quickly and move around.

About the role: The role involves taking responsibility for welcoming guests to the restaurant in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring that all standards are met with attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and beverage and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate will be organised and have excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a similar quality restaurant is required and knowledge of food, wine and beverage is an advantage. You must have a passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile.

About the hotel: Dinner is a collaboration between two iconic names: Heston Blumenthal and Mandarin Oriental. When you set foot through these doors, you feel the spirit of the city infusing every floor. The park’s green vastness rolls beyond bedroom windows. Renowned guests frequent the hotels’ bars and restaurants. It’s another world – and we’re looking for people to transport our guests here. To a world of oriental luxury and the most attentive service. A world that’s all about them. It’s a world that’s been reinvented and reimagined to move with the times. With a heart of London’s heritage and an eye to the future, we use our own sense of history to set new standards – through kind, passionate and generous service.

Benefits: We provide a comprehensive Benefits Package which includes:
