Mandarin Oriental is looking for a Technology Project Leader to join our Group IT team. Are you a master of craft? Based within the Group IT Department in London, the Technology Project Leader will lead the end-to-end execution of hotel and branded residence openings across Mandarin Oriental. The role reports to the Vice President, Technology Operations.
As Technology Project Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the planning and delivery of hotel and residential openings and management takeovers, ensuring alignment with brand vision and compliance with Product Standards and Guidelines.
- Collaborating with design and development teams to uphold brand standards.
- Overseeing FF&E and OS&E procurement, ensuring premium quality and timely installation.
- Acting as liaison between ownership groups, brand teams, and operational leaders.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with IT, People & Culture, Finance, Operations, Technical Services, and Marketing.
- Conducting site visits and progress reviews with developers and contractors.
- Coordinating pre-opening activities including training and system implementation.
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect timelines and brand reputation.
- Ensuring adherence to MOHG Technology product standards and Information Security guidelines.
What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of IT experience with international exposure, including 3+ years in hospitality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in hotel systems integration, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Strong experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
- ITIL Foundation or higher; PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
