About the job
Based within the Finance Department in the London Corporate Office, the Finance Systems Support plays a critical role in administering and optimizing financial systems to support smooth operations across multiple properties globally. This role works closely with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to ensure systems are aligned with business objectives and operating effectively. The Finance Systems Support reports to the relevant Finance leadership team within the Corporate Office.
As Finance Systems Support, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Oversee and maintain financial systems and reporting tools, primarily Hyperion Planning.
- Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with other business applications.
- Manage user access, system configurations, and security protocols.
- Assist with ad hoc financial reporting requirements.
- Support and train hotel teams during system implementations and onboarding processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes through automation and best practices.
- Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to enhance reporting and data analytics capabilities.
- Standardize financial procedures across hotel properties using technology‑driven solutions.
- Act as a key point of contact for finance system troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Develop training materials and user guidance documentation for hotel finance teams.
- Support finance system projects including implementations, enhancements, and migrations.
- Collaborate with external vendors and IT teams to support successful deployments and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Support initiatives to safeguard data integrity and maintain system security standards.
As Finance Systems Support, we expect from you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance systems management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong experience with financial reporting and planning tools such as Hyperion, Essbase, and Power BI.
- Good understanding of hotel financial systems including HMS, SunSystems, Opera PMS, Infrasys, and Infogenysis.
- Understanding of core finance processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Forecasting, and Budgeting.
- Experience supporting ERP and PMS integrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, IT, and Operations teams across multiple locations.
- Previous experience supporting multi‑property hotel operations is preferred.
- Exposure to hospitality industry compliance and tax regulations would be advantageous.
- Project management experience or certifications such as PMP or Agile would be beneficial.
