We’re looking for a Pastry Demi Chef De Partie to join our vibrant and dynamic Culinary team. Be part of the exclusive team hosting Mayfair’s newest and most exciting dining destination.
As Demi Chef de Partie at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London you will play an important part in creating an environment that creates amazing dishes. With over 20 restaurants worldwide, Michelin Starred Chef Akira Back has gathered success and notoriety for being at the forefront of culinary innovation and artistry. Sharpen your skills and learn invaluable new ones as you transcend hospitality in seamless fashion and lively interactions.
As a Demi Chef De Partie at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for:
- Being fully aware of all menu items, their recipes, method of production and presentation standards.
- Executing all food items with standard recipe and plating guide as devised by Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Ensuring that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard.
- Preparing, and when required, delegating the production of the necessary food items in accordance with standards in a timely & efficient fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guests’ service.
As a Demi Chef De Partie, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
