About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London within the Rooms Division, Concierge Department the Bell Person is responsible for ensuring complete guest satisfaction during their experience by providing information and services to both meet and exceed our guests' and residents' expectations. As Bell Person, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- To ensure that luggage is handled promptly and safely.
- To communicate handover information at the beginning and end of shifts.
- To perform your daily tasks in accordance with Mandarin Oriental Standard Operating Procedures.
- To provide efficient service to our guests and residents at all times.
- To ensure that Mandarin Oriental Mayfair Grooming standards are maintained - ensure that the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensuring that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests.
- To check arrival and departure reports to anticipate guests' and residents' needs.
- To greet our guests, residents and visitors on both arrival and departure courteously and professionally.
- To ensure the safe keeping and issuing of pass keys.
- To ensure the safe keeping and issuing of radios.
- To ensure guest car keys are properly handled and logged.
- To ensure the safe parking of residents' and guest vehicles.
- To assist with on-the-job training for new joiners.
- To announce visitors to guests or management.
