An expanding smart buildings organisation is looking for a Building Technology Engineer ideally with KNX experience (can be trained if not) to support the delivery of next-generation BMS (Building Management System) projects. The role involves working on the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of building automation systems across a range of sectors, including defence, education, and healthcare. The company has recently delivered one of the most intelligent, multi award winning buildings for MoD, in Europe, integrating over 21,000 data points into a unified platform for full visibility, efficiency, and control. The successful candidate will join a high-performing and collaborative team at the forefront of building technology innovation. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in developing and delivering intelligent building systems * Support system programming and testing for BMS platforms (KNX, ModBus, BACnet, DALI, etc.) * Contribute to onsite commissioning and support ongoing system improvements * Collaborate closely with design engineers and commissioning specialists Ideal Candidate: * Background in Building Services, Electrical Engineering or Automation * Experience working with BMS platforms and building automation protocols * Strong attention to detail and a collaborative working style * Familiarity with logic programming (e.g. FBD, LUA) is advantageous This position will suit an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who is keen to be part of a company that is thriving and growing, and part of one of Europe’s fastest-growing construction groups, recently listed in the FT\’s Top 500 Fastest Growing European Companies.
