Ammcass CE Group are committed to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, with health & safety embedded at the core of everything we do.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop our company-wide H&S function across multiple live construction projects.
This is a senior-level position offering real influence and autonomy within the business. You will take ownership of health & safety strategy, operational compliance, fire safety, systems management, and construction site standards across all projects. The role will suit an experienced construction H&S professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing both operational and strategic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all company Health & Safety operations across multiple construction sites
- Ensure compliance with all UK H&S legislation including CDM 2015
- Develop, implement, and maintain H&S policies and procedures
- Act as the company lead for:
- RAMS
- Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)
- Site mobilisation
- Toolbox talks and workforce engagement
- Incident investigations and reporting
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of UK construction H&S legislation
- Experience working for a Principal Contractor
- Proven experience managing H&S across live construction projects
- Excellent knowledge of:
- CDM Regulations 2015
- RAMS
- CPPs
- Site audits and compliance systems
Desirable
- CMIOSH status
- ISO 45001 experience
- Fire Safety qualification
- Experience across commercial and residential projects
