Due to continued growth and several major contract wins, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our expanding team in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and working independently while being part of a supportive and ambitious business.

The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive industry-leading service and support. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and supporting gaming equipment across customer sites throughout the region and occasionally across the UK. You’ll be trusted to represent the Manco brand professionally, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on gaming equipment
  • Install and configure gaming machines and associated systems at customer locations
  • Complete cosmetic rectification and general machine maintenance to a high standard
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Accurately record service visits, technical issues, and customer feedback
  • Support installation projects on behalf of key industry partners
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures
  • Travel across the Birmingham region and occasionally throughout the UK as required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a technical, field service, electronics, IT, or engineering role
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable (But Not Essential)

  • Experience within the gaming, amusement, vending, or entertainment industry
  • Electrical or electronic repair experience
  • Experience working in a customer-facing technical support role
