A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Digital Strategy & Planning Manager to join the Group Informatics Team at Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT). We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff with a delivery focus who can align to our values and behaviours. You will be delivering exciting change initiatives, service improvements, and defined projects across our portfolio of work, supporting the achievement of the MFT Digital Strategy and wider organisational strategies and digital aspirations. You will form part of a growing, motivated, and supportive team and will be well placed to develop your skills and knowledge.
Main duties of the job:
- This is a busy and rewarding role in a team which supports the transformation of services through the utilisation of technology in accordance with trust-wide business requirements.

Person specification:
Qualifications:
- Clear evidence of continued professional development relating to portfolio, programme, or project management, such as Managing Successful Programmes, Management of Value, P3O Masters level degree or equivalent within a Business or IT specific subject.
- Professional qualifications such as Prince 2.
Experience:
- Substantial experience of working within strategically focused functions, across complex change and operational service delivery environments.
- Demonstrable experience at a senior level in an NHS acute trust or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strategic thinking – ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise.
- Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options.
