Staff Nurse β Endoscopy

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Endoscopy Unit at the North Manchester General Hospital. We are a JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit and offer training at our host site for North West Training Academy. You will be supported by our dedicated Clinical Educator to become competent in assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities
The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner.
Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. NMGH endoscopy operate core hours 08.00 am β 18.30 Monday to Friday with additional 24 hour on call 365 days a year to support our out of hours service. Act as a Practice Supervisor/Assessor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for preregistration students and Trainee Nursing Associates.
