We have an opportunity for a keen, motivated, and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our teams in the WTWA dermatology departments. If you are a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients within an outpatient environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We have a multiskilled workforce within the team who are ready to provide support and training to ensure your success in this role.

This role is predominantly Monday to Friday and requires cross-site working between Withington, Trafford, Wythenshawe, and Altrincham.

Main duties of the job

  1. The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate, and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner.
  2. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process.
  3. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students.
  4. The post holder will be engaged in training opportunities to support their development and service provision within the department.
  5. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of patient care.
