As a MR radiographic assistant, you will be working with our radiographers in the MR scanning department, ensuring exceptional support for our patients before, during, and after their MR Scan. The role involves caring for patients, placing intravenous cannulas, and removing these once the scan is completed. You will also ensure all consumables are available throughout the day, keep the area clean and tidy, and provide care for patients who need additional support during the scanning process. You will be expected to work flexibly, including weekends, and may need to do some additional hours to cover for colleagues' leave.

Main duties of the job:

  • Providing exceptional support for our patients before, during, and after their MR Scans.
  • Placing intravenous cannulas.
  • Ensuring the availability of consumables.
  • Maintaining cleanliness.
  • Caring for patients needing additional support.
