The Stroke Rehab Ward is a 20-bedded facility designed for stroke rehabilitation patients. The unit is responsible for assessing patients presenting with stroke and neurology symptoms who require further therapy. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses in caring for stroke rehabilitation patients.

We are looking for confident and caring candidates capable of providing care with dignity and compassion, supporting patients through their recovery.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, hardworking, and exhibit excellent communication standards. They are expected to lead and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, remaining calm and professional under pressure.

The post holder will receive support for professional development and will have opportunities to grow within the role. In the near future, we plan to develop a training program that could enable you to become a Band 3 Rehab Nursing Assistant.

The role involves working as part of the ward-based team with relevant training support. It covers day shifts, with some night shifts and weekends on a rota basis.

Good teamwork and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be flexible, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and serve as positive role models.
