Talent Experience Lead

(12 Month FTC, Maternity cover)

The Role

The interim Talent Experience Lead (12 month FTC) is a key role within the People Team, responsible for managing recruitment campaigns at the entry to mid-level, leading onboarding activities, and ensuring new starters have an exceptional introduction to the Club. You will act as a trusted recruitment advisor while also ensuring seamless coordination and compliance across vetting, contract issuance and signing, induction planning, and system onboarding processes. You will collaborate closely with the People team and hiring managers to enhance the full employee experience lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

  • Facilitate hiring for entry to mid-level roles across the Club, both internally and externally.
  • Assist in researching and talent mapping activities for senior-level recruitment campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, and effective talent pooling to support future succession planning.
  • Screen applications, conduct interviews where required, and support the selection process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout.

Onboarding & New Hire Activation

  • Oversee the full onboarding process, ensuring new starters experience a smooth and professional transition into the Club.
  • Facilitate the contract issuance and vetting activation process, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the coordination of induction activities, ensuring managers and departments are aligned to deliver engaging and informative experiences for new hires.
  • Provide onboarding support and guidance to hiring managers to ensure consistency and quality across the business.
  • Ensure accurate and timely onboarding data entry into the People System (HRIS).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with People Services to support broader People initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the wider People Team on continuous improvement projects related to employee experience, engagement, technology and process optimisation and retention.
  • Act as a key link between Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and the business to deliver a unified employee journey.

The Person

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Proven experience supporting recruitment processes at entry to mid-level, in an inhouse environment
  • Solid understanding of hiring practices, pre-employment vetting, contract management, and onboarding processes.
  • Strong experience in maintaining and optimising applicant tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy, reporting integrity, and effective talent pooling.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple onboarding and recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal People teams.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with a commitment to delivering a first-class candidate and employee experience.
  • Collaborative working style, with experience partnering cross-functionally with People teams and operational leaders.
