The Role: As a Video Editor, you’ll play a key role in bringing Manchester United to life through compelling visual storytelling. Working within our Content and Production team, you’ll create engaging video content for millions of supporters across the globe, helping to connect fans with the club, our players and our people. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll edit a wide variety of content for platforms including MUTV, YouTube, the Official Manchester United App, social media channels, podcasts, and occasionally commercial and internal communications. From matchday features and behind-the-scenes access to social-first content and long-form productions, you’ll deliver creative, high-quality edits that captivate audiences. Working in a fast-paced football environment, you’ll collaborate closely with producers, camera operators, designers, social media teams and other stakeholders, balancing creativity with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Your work will help drive audience growth, supporter engagement and commercial success across the club’s digital platforms.
The Person: Strong experience editing video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, with a solid working knowledge of the wider Adobe Creative Suite. Experience creating engaging content for digital, social and broadcast platforms. A passion for football and an understanding of supporter culture and evolving content trends. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. A proactive, collaborative approach, with strong relationship-building and communication skills. A creative mindset, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to content production. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
