The Purpose
- Support an Age group within the Youth Development Phase
- Work with the MDT to plan and deliver the holistic development of high potential players at Manchester United FC
- Report to the Head of Player Development 13-16 and deliver the Manchester United Academy curriculum and encourage individuals and teams to play in the Manchester United style.
- Collaborate with coaches in different phases and different departments across the Academy to continue to evolve Academy processes and curriculum
- Create a positive but challenging learning environment for players to thrive and develop
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- You are excellent on the grass and can deliver high quality football coaching sessions that stretch and challenge high potential players.
- You are a highly motivated forward thinking player developer with experience of developing players in elite environments
- You have experience and insights into the development journeys of Premier League and international players
- You hold the B License and Advanced Youth Award (or working towards)
- You are an outstanding communicator and team player who can function in an elite development environment.
- You are highly competent with IT and are familiar with sports code and Angles analysis software
- You hold an enhanced DBS clearance, FA Safeguarding and Emergency Aid qualifications
- You hold a full driving License
