ACADEMY ACTIVITY AND MATCH DAY COORDINATOR (CASUAL)
Location: Manchester United Training Grounds – Carrington & Salford

The Purpose
To support the smooth running of Academy football activities, with a strong focus on match day operations across both training venues.
The Role

  • Support match day operations across all age groups, including evenings and weekends.
  • Work collaboratively with security, safeguarding, grounds staff, facilities, and cleaning teams to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Prepare changing rooms and communicate pitch allocations clearly.
  • Welcome visiting teams, match officials, families, and guests.
  • Direct spectators to pitches, toilets, family areas, and refreshment points.
  • Monitor scout and agent attendance and assist with pitch inspections when required.
  • Ensure all players, parents, and spectators follow the Academy’s Code of Conduct.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the Academy Operations team.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required to support Academy operations.
Additional Expectations
  • Maintain up-to-date Safeguarding and DBS certification in line with club policy.
  • Adhere to all Manchester United policies, especially those relating to safeguarding and equality.
  • Report any serious concerns directly to the Academy Operations team.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, players, and parents.
  • Work independently and as part of a team with a flexible and professional approach.
  • Be available to work at both Carrington and Salford venues.
