The Role:
As a Matchday Back of House Assistant, you will support the smooth operation of the kitchens, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, and contributing to the overall success of the food service operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all online training allocated by the club within deadlines
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including surfaces, floors, and equipment
- Remove food residue from dishes and utensils before loading racks into professional dishwashing machines
- Sort and return clean plates, utensils, and equipment to proper storage areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Report maintenance issues, shortages, or incidents to supervisors or managers
- Adapt to various tasks as required by kitchen needs
- Follow health and safety protocols, including correct handling of chemicals and cleaning agents
- Dispose of food waste, recycling, and general waste according to hygiene and environmental regulations.
No prior experience is required — full training will be provided.
