Quantity Surveyor – Hertfordshire – Permanent

We are currently searching for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a client based out of Hertfordshire. This is a full-time – permanent position. Our client is a Chartered Building Contractor who specialise in home renovations across Hertfordshire and home counties.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects that could be priced anywhere from £500k to multi‑million packages, including groundworks, basements, extensions, refurbishments and fitout.
• Manage both civil and construction aspects of projects.
• Procure subcontractors and work proactively with limited direction.

Qualifications

• Construction background experience
• 10 years of commercial experience
• Experience working with residential contractors is preferred
• Capable of independent work and effective decision-making
