This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the University, where no two days are the same. As a trusted member of a collaborative and experienced PA community, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Executive's office. You will build strong working relationships with colleagues across the University and provide a high standard of administrative and organisational support in a fast‑paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Anticipating priorities and providing proactive support to ensure the smooth running of the Executive's office

We're looking for someone who is confident, adaptable and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You'll have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining discretion and professionalism.

At Manchester Metropolitan University, we recognise that our people are our greatest asset. We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and rewarding workplace where you can thrive both professionally and personally. As part of our team, you'll benefit from:

  • 25 days' annual leave, increasing with length of service, plus bank holidays and a University Christmas closure
  • Hybrid working, with three days on campus and two days working from home
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development, learning and career progression
  • Annual salary progression (subject to scheme rules) and a range of employee reward and recognition initiatives
  • A comprehensive benefits package including discounted gym membership, cycle to work and travel schemes, retail discounts, generous pension provision, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme to support your wellbeing
