The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students. To apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. Two students are required each month to film and edit Bunker Talks at The Salutation (and alternative venues). Each event features a guest speaker and host and will require two cameras to shoot and edit with additional sound recording using radio microphones.

Requirements:
  • Experience filming video using a camera (or cameras), ideally with experience in multi‑camera filming.
  • Ideally a current student of Filmmaking or a related subject.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Able to record clear audio using microphones.
  • Reliable and punctual for scheduled event dates.
  • Comfortable working in a live event environment.
  • Able to borrow, use, and return AV equipment responsibly.

There is potential to roll this work over to the 2026/27 academic year for eligible applicants.

Event times: 4pm-7pm. Editing time: 3 hours. Successful students will need to borrow and return equipment for the event from Technical Services / AV Store.
