Join our Student Engagement Team and make a real difference to student success. Student engagement is at the heart of student success. Our Student Engagement Team plays a vital role in ensuring students feel supported, connected and able to succeed throughout their academic journey. We work proactively with students and colleagues across the University to identify barriers, provide early intervention and create a positive, inclusive student experience.

You'll play a key role in reducing barriers to success and improving the student experience.
About the Role: Working as part of a central Student Engagement team, as a Student Engagement Adviser, you will play a proactive and student‐focused role in supporting engagement, retention and success across the University.
- Contact students identified as needing support and guide them to the right help.
- Work closely with Personal Tutors, academics, and professional services.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with tutor allocations and appointments.
- Support continuous improvement of engagement processes.
About you: You will be motivated by supporting students and improving their experience, bringing a positive, empathetic and proactive approach to your work. Comfortable engaging with a diverse student population, you will be able to build rapport quickly, handle sensitive situations with care and work collaboratively with colleagues across the University. You will take pride in delivering a high standard of customer service and contributing to continuous improvement within a fast‐paced, student‐focused environment.
