Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Fashion Marketing to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will take on rotational (3‑4 years) Programme Leader responsibility, bringing experience, skills and knowledge to the strategic leadership and continued development of the programme.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Fashion Marketing, you will lead curriculum development, quality assurance, teaching and student experience. You will have interests and expertise including but not limited to:
- Consumer Behaviour
- B2C and B2B Marketing
- Retail Marketing
- Marketing Strategy
- Marketing Communications
- Digital Marketing
- Advertising and Branding
- Brand Management
- International Marketing
- Marketing Analytics
- AI Marketing
The post holder will also be expected to contribute to their education practice through teaching and learning innovation and scholarship that aligns with the university's education strategy.
Essential Qualifications
A good first degree in a relevant discipline, together with either postgraduate qualification(s), equivalent professional experience, or evidence of professional practice and/or scholarly contribution relevant to the role. A PGCE, Certificate of Education, PGCLTHE or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or an agreed professional equivalent, or commitment to FHEA to obtain within three years of appointment. Interests and expertise within Fashion Marketing including but not limited to Consumer Behaviour, B2B Marketing, Retail Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Advertising and Branding, Brand Management, International Marketing, Marketing Analytics and AI Marketing. Commitment to the University's strategic objectives, with a focus on supporting Education, Practice and Citizenship. Experience of academic leadership in education. Commitment to the University's policies and procedures including promoting equality in own area of responsibility and in general conduct.
Desirable
Membership of relevant Professional bodies, demonstrating professional standing. Leadership of project staff to a successful outcome.
