We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional who is looking for a challenging and exciting role with either an Arts and Humanities or a Health and Education focus. Based in the Future Students marketing team, you will be responsible for the effective planning and delivery of a range of business as usual and project specific marketing activity.

The Future Students marketing team are looking for two Marketing Assistant roles supporting Arts and Humanities subject team (12 months fixed-term contract), and the Health and Education subject team (permanent contract). In supporting each team, you will provide marketing administrative assistance in the delivery of impactful activity to support the Future Students marketing strategy, whilst supporting with the creation of rich media content and marketing materials, aligned with the student recruitment journey. You will also work closely with Future student colleagues to build positive and proactive relationships with Faculty colleagues.

We’re looking for applicants who are eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have strong event management skills, a creative flair for copywriting and a practical approach to content development across multiple channels. You’ll also have a strong interest in the subjects you’ll work across.

This is an exciting opportunity to be based in a high performing department that alongside student recruitment marketing is also responsible for brand, events, digital and creative services, all with a focus on raising the profile and reputation of the University. The Future Students marketing team are responsible for all future students marketing activity and plans. The team work cross-university and across the other areas of marketing to align marketing strategy, implement creative and impactful plans to support priorities. This role is part of the Health and Education subject team who own and manage the relationship between faculties and marketing and are the subject matter marketing experts. You will be expected to work closely with other teams including Recruitment and Admissions, and marketing teams across Campaigns and International, sharing expertise and best practice.

The integrated Marketing team will provide full mix marketing support aligned to the University priorities across Education, Research and Reputation, to help deliver against our strategic objectives.
