About the role
Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, with current and/or previous background in adult focused care? Are you a specialist clinician who wants to develop their career in an academic setting, or an existing academic who wants to join our outstanding team of experienced staff? This role involves high‑quality teaching, outstanding student support, robust assessment of theory and practice, and other education focused duties across our two programmes. You will be supported by internal mentorship and staff development to enable you to succeed in this role. This post is offered on the Education, Pedagogy and Citizenship (EPC) career pathway.
About you
- A HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist who has extensive knowledge and experience in the field
- A practitioner who has a background in adult focused care
- A good first degree plus a masters degree or have evidence of progression towards a masters
- Candidates with extensive relevant clinical experience without a masters degree, willing to engage in level 7 study to complete a Post‑graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, will also be considered.
