A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Student Enrolment and Events Team. Our passionate and dedicated team work year round to help with the students' journey. Beginning with the students' enrolment, quickly followed by the Welcome week, providing information and guidance for new students to begin their University life and through a number of activities and events, we aim to prepare the student for their study. The graduation ceremony is the pinnacle of the student journey here at MMU and this exciting new role will play a big part in ensuring the best experience possible for our students.

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an Education Services Officer. The successful candidate will work flexibly across a range of tasks within the teams and will have responsibility for defined areas of work. We have one permanent position, and one fixed term 1 yr position available. You will be considered for both positions. The successful candidate will help to plan, coordinate and deliver a rolling and varied programme of annual student events, in close liaison with the wider Education Services office. Key events will include the University Graduation Ceremonies, and the University Welcome activities. The successful candidate will also have work closely with colleagues to manage the awards and conferment element of the team. This will involve processing student results and producing certificates and transcripts to students as evidence of their award.

About You

You will have a keen attention to detail and an enthusiastic ‘can-do' attitude. The role involves developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key internal and external partners so you will have excellent communication skills and a professional approach. We are looking for someone who will have the confidence to take particular responsibility for defined areas of work within the Enrolment and Events team but will also work flexibly to achieve team objectives by assisting others and working collaboratively to complete tasks and projects. Strong administrative skills would be beneficial for this role.
