Current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students. You must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The School of Sociology and Criminology is looking for three student content creators to assist with the creation of new subject‑specific marketing resources.

General Duties

  • Generate student‑led content ideas for the School of Sociology and Criminology social media channels (@manmetcrimsoc).
  • Film and edit your own content, using tools such as CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats, such as turning a blog post into an Instagram carousel using templates on Adobe Express.
  • Work alongside the School of Sociology and Criminology Social Media Lead to ensure content aligns with our goals.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Studying either an undergraduate or postgraduate course in the School of Sociology and Criminology.
  • You must remain a current student for the duration of the role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable in front of the camera.
  • Able to film and edit social‑media style video content.
  • Familiar with Adobe Express.
  • Willing to talk about your university experience.
