Teaching Assistant in the Preparatory School (temporary) in Manchester

Overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work alongside class teachers to assist with the provision of a supportive, caring and safe learning environment for pupils in the Preparatory School. The role is temporary to the end of term in July 2026.

Working Hours

37 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm (30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day). The appointment covers 37 weeks per year, including term time and 5 INSET days.

Salary

Starting salary is at point 15 of the support staff pay scale (points 15 to 18). For the above hours, the annual starting salary is £20,335.89.
