We are seeking to appoint, from February/March 2026, an outstanding teacher of Piano to work in a self‑employed capacity in our music department as a maternity cover for one of our piano teachers. We expect this post to run from February/March 2026 until January 2027, but there may be some flexibility with this.
We are looking to cover approximately 35 pupils. We would expect the successful applicant to be an accomplished performer and to have the ability to teach and inspire our boys from across the age range and to encourage our pupils to take up the study of the Piano.
Preparation for graded music exams is part of the job, and we would expect the successful candidate to impart a thorough technical and musical grounding in their pupils, regardless of the style of music being studied and the approach required for individual.
