We are seeking to appoint, from 1 September 2026, an outstanding individual to teach in our thriving and vibrant Junior School.
The post is a full‑time, temporary position for a one‑year maternity cover.
We are looking for a teacher with a lively passion for teaching and learning, who is able to provide challenging and enriching teaching for our talented pupils. The successful applicant may be newly‑qualified or experienced, with excellent academic qualifications and a desire to promote academic rigour and scholarship whilst providing exemplary pastoral care.
The successful candidate will have a passion for developing well‑considered planning and delivering challenging, creative lessons to our pupils. They will develop strong and positive relationships with pupils and liaise proactively with parents. They will foster a learning environment that encourages success.
They will teach across the curriculum, including in other year groups, beyond their form. Alongside their teaching duties, all teaching staff are expected to play a full and active part in the Junior School Options programme and the co‑curricular programme of the School. There will also be opportunities to lead on trips, visits and residentials and we would welcome applications from candidates who will participate fully in the life of the Junior School.
