Manchester Events Agency is expanding its face-to-face marketing campaigns across retail locations in Manchester, and we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
This isn't a traditional retail position involving tills, stock or merchandising. You'll be working within busy retail environments, engaging directly with customers, representing brands and supporting promotional sales campaigns.
What will you be doing?
- Engaging with customers at retail-based promotional events.
- Introducing products, services and marketing campaigns.
- Building rapport and communicating confidently with the public.
- Supporting customer acquisition and campaign sales targets.
- Working alongside a motivated team to deliver campaign results.
- Developing practical communication, sales and marketing skills.
Who are we looking for?
Previous marketing experience isn't essential. We're more interested in finding people with the right personality, attitude and willingness to learn.
Ideally, you'll be someone who:
- Enjoys meeting people and starting conversations.
- Has a friendly, confident and approachable personality.
- Works well in a team and brings positive energy.
- Is motivated, reliable and comfortable working towards targets.
- Takes feedback well and enjoys developing new skills.
Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or sales would be useful, but isn't necessary.
