About The Role
You’ll be part of a collaborative and growing data science community, working on high-impact projects that influence how decisions are made across justice services. From predictive modelling to machine learning and AI, your work will help turn complex and fragmented data into actionable insight. You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams to design, build and deploy data science solutions, supporting everything from operational tools for frontline staff to large-scale analytical products used across government.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and deploying data science solutions using techniques like machine learning, NLP and statistical modelling
- Working in multidisciplinary teams to take ideas from concept to live service
- Turning complex datasets into practical tools and actionable insight
- Communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Supporting the development and delivery of data products used across the justice system
- Collaborating with other data scientists using modern practices (e.g. version control, shared code)
- Helping shape projects and contribute to the direction of technical work
- Coaching and supporting junior data scientists
What We’re Looking For
