As a Salesforce Technical Consultant, you’ll be working across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, from Consumer Products and Utilities to Automotive and Telecommunications. You’ll be working with our clients to transform their business using the Salesforce.com platform with one of the largest ecosystems of Salesforce apps. You’ll experience variety; one day you could be working with the client to get to grips with their business requirements, the next day you may start building a proof of concept with a development team, moving onto developing the final solution that may be used by thousands of end users.
Your role
Working closely with clients, you’ll analyse exactly what they need. Then you’ll design and develop the right solution to exceed their expectations using your technical Salesforce configuration and coding. Your passion for Salesforce and CRM, along with your love of exploring ideas, will help you become the person clients turn to when they face their most complex challenges.
Your security clearance
Security Check (SC) Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.

1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
2. Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development, and maintenance.
3. Requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
4. Builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
