DWP Digital is looking for outstanding Senior NetDevOps Engineers to assist in the design of Infrastructure services in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering principles. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Lead Criteria – Infrastructure as Code, continuous delivery pipelines, automation design, including working collaboratively with an object-oriented programming language (such as Python) and shared Git repositories.
  • Designing, documenting, implementing, administering, and supporting infrastructure technologies, solutions and services.
  • Taking accountability of issues that occur, being proactive in searching for potential problems, and ensuring effective prevention and remediation.
  • Core networking infrastructure knowledge, and in-depth familiarity with technologies covering the range of criteria above.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams, clearly communicating priorities, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality outcomes are delivered on time.

You and your role

We're looking for Senior NetDevOps Engineers to help shape our approach as we grow our automation capabilities and modernise how we deliver network services. You'll work across cloud and on-prem environments, designing secure, highly available solutions and driving improvements through automation. You will play a key role in delivering complex projects, improving reliability and supporting continuous improvement, while also mentoring others and sharing best practice.

  • Hybrid Working – We work a hybrid model – you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
  • Pay – We offer competitive pay of up to £73,205.
