DWP Digital is looking for a Senior Digital Engagement Manager to join our team. You'll shape the narrative for our Digital and Transformation Group, ensuring colleagues understand our purpose, priorities, achievements and ambitions, and feel connected to the work we're delivering.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating high-quality content and evaluating communications or engagement activity.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments.
- Experience providing strategic communications advice to senior leaders and influencing decision‑making on complex issues.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including prioritising stakeholders, building relationships, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering engagement activity.
- Experience designing and delivering innovative, user-focused communications or engagement strategies that achieved measurable impact.
You and your role
As a Senior Digital Engagement Manager, you'll lead engagement strategies that bring DTG's story to life, helping colleagues and stakeholders understand our purpose, priorities, achievements and ambitions.
Working closely with senior leaders, you'll provide expert advice and support to help them communicate clearly, consistently and with impact. You'll create compelling narratives, briefings and key messages that connect people to our vision and the role they play in delivering it.
You'll build strong relationships across DWP, government and delivery partners, creating meaningful opportunities to engage audiences in our work and the transformation we're delivering. You'll identify who we need to reach, understand what matters to them and develop approaches that build awareness, trust and support for DTG's priorities.
You'll strengthen the comms and engagement profession, sharing expertise, encouraging collaboration and helping teams continually improve how they communicate and connect with their audiences.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home (40%) and some time collaborating face to face in a hub (60%).
Pay: We offer competitive pay for this role of £57,946
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth over £16,786 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting aa 25 days, rising to 26 after one year and 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
