About The Team

You’ll join the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), working within the Chief Architect function and the Integration team. You’ll work closely with delivery teams, platform teams, product managers and other architects to embed consistent integration approaches across the organisation.

  • Design and assure integrations that are secure, reliable and aligned to MoJ strategy.

  • Mentor other architects and engineers, strengthening integration capability.
  • Communicate integration decisions clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Can explain technical concepts clearly and pragmatically.

Essential Experience

You should bring experience of:

  • Designing integrations using APIs, events and messaging.
  • Managing dependencies between systems safely.
  • Integration security (service‑to‑service auth, data protection in transit).
  • Working in multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Communicating technical decisions to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to obtain SC clearance.
